Realtor Nikhil Pattani endorses the spirit of Holi, urges to opt natural colours

Mumbai: The festival of colours 'Holi' is here and while all preparations to celebrate it include stacking up water guns and heaps of colours, there is also the need for safe celebrations. Intellectuals and brands are also encouraging people to celebrate the festival keeping safety in mind while maintaining the high spirit of the festival. Of a number of ways to play safe holi, the best one is playing with natural colours.

With the motive to generate awareness and encourage people to celebrate holi with natural colours, Mumbai based real estate expert, Blogger and Founder of 'Destiniva Realty' Nikhil Pattani said, "The greatest way to celebrate this colourful event is to play Holi with natural colours. We can make our own natural colours with turmeric, chandan, and henna, and use our imagination to create diverse combinations. You can mix a bit of lemon juice to turmeric and dry it to make red colour. These colours are safe to use and can be readily removed."

According to Nikhil, "Colours play vital role in fitness of human body. In ancient times, when people started playing Holi, the colours used by them were made from natural sources like turmeric, Neem, Palash (Tesu) etc. The playful pouring and throwing of colour powders made from these natural sources has a healing effect on the human body. It has the effect of strengthening the ions in the body and adds health and beauty to it."

"The initiative aims to make people aware and protect them from the skin, hair and other issues caused by chemical-based colours and other products used to celebrate the festival," Nikhil concluded.
